In 2003, CARE House coordinated services for 504 of the most serious cases of child abuse in our community. The following statistics reflect the types of cases coordinated by the advocacy center, age breakdown of victims and a five-year comparison of the number of children receiving services at CARE House. The volume of children being seen at CARE House demonstrates the seriousness of child maltreatment right here in our own community.
